ROAD to FREEDOM

an historical underground railroad reenactment

Looking for actors to portray real and imagined characters as you escort or hinder a large group of runaway slaves along an actual site of the Underground Railroad.

Roles Available

FREDERICK (white male) an abolitionist posing as a slave buyer

CAPTAIN AARON ROOT (white male) an abolitionist

NOTE: Actors will be required to perform outdoors for extended periods of time.

Actors must be available for the following dates:

Sunday, April 2nd / 10AM-3PM

Tuesday, April 4th thru Thursday, April 6th / 8AM-3PM

Saturday, April 8th / 3PM-8PM

Monday, April 10th thru Wednesday, April 12th / 8AM-3PM

Rehearsals begin immediately, and will be based on actors availability.
